КИСЛОВОДСК - самый южный и самый крупный
курорт КМВ, который глубоко врезался в предгорья Большого Кавказа (440 северной
широты и 430 восточной долготы) и расположен на высоте 800 м над уровнем моря.
Город утопает в зелени скверов, цветников, крупнейшего в Европе парка площадью
1350 га с терренкуром, придающих воздуху особую чистоту и прозрачность.
Основное лечебное средство курорта - холодный углекислый источник Нарзан; также
для оздоровления отдыхающих применяются климато- и грязелечение, другие методы
терапии природными факторами. Лечение и профилактика профильных заболеваний
(органов кровообращения, дыхания, функциональных расстройств нервной системы) и
сопутствующей патологии (желудочно-кишечного тракта, опорно-двигательного
аппарата, урологических, гинекологических, ЛОР-заболеваний, глазных и
эндокринных болезней) проводится круглогодично.
Заводами и специализированными цехами осуществляется промышленный розлив
минеральных вод типа "Нарзан" и др.
Кисловодск связан со всей страной, городом Минеральные Воды и другими курортами
КМВ железнодорожной магистралью. Город находится в конце электрифицированной ж\д
ветки, связывающей все города-курорты, по которой регулярно курсируют
электропоезда. У станции Минеральные Воды эта ветка выходит на главную ж\д
магистраль, соединяющую Кавказ с Москвой. Расстояние от Москвы до станции
Минеральные Воды -1843 км, от Минвод до Кисловодска - 64 км. |

Kislovodsk is the southernmost and the largest resort of the CMW, which is
deeply cut into foothills of the Bigj Caucasus (North Latitude 440 and East
Longitude 430) and is located at an altitude of 800 m above sea level. The city
drowns in the verdure of gardens, flower beds and the largest in Europe Park by
area of 1350 hectare with terrenkur, adding to the air special purity and
transparency.
The main medical factor of the resort is a cool carbonate well "Narzan". Climate
and mud treatment, other methods of therapy, alongside with natural factors are
used for the treatment of vacationers. The treatment and prophylaxis of profile
diseases (the circulation system, the respiratory tract diseases, the functional
frustration of the nervous system) and accompanying pathology (the
gastrointestinal tract, the skeletal system, urologic, gynecological, ear,
throat, nose diseases, ocular and endocrine diseases) is conducted all year

Industrial bottled mineral water of the type "Narzan" and of other types is
produced by plants and specialized shops.
Kislovodsk is connected with the whole country. the city of Mineral Waters and
other resorts of the CMW by a railway line. The city is located at the end of
the electrified branch line, linking all city-resorts, on which electnc trains
regularly run.
At the Mineral Waters station this branch is connected with the main railway
line, connecting the Caucasus with Moscow. The distance from Moscow to Mineral
Waters station is 1843 km, from Minvody to Kislovodsk - 64 km.
